The first railway start commercially in china on july 1876 between shanghai to wusong.The railway, known as the woosung road, ran from the american concession in the present-day zhabei district to woosung in the present-day baoshan district and was built by the british trading firm, jardine, matheson and co.

The first railway start in America on 28 February 1827. the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad became the first U.S. railway chartered for commercial transport of passengers and freight.
RUSSIA :-
The first railway line was built in Russia in 1837 between Saint-Petersburg and Tsarskoye Selo, and called the Tsarskoye Selo Railway.
PAKISTAN :-
The first railway start in Pakistan in 1855 during british raj. And 13th May,1861 rail line was opened for public traffic between Karachi City and Kotri, the distance of 105 miles.
